Vivien Rose Reed
Hi, I'm Vivien! I was born in New York City and have grown up in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. I was blessed to be born into a musical family with professional opera singer parents and a professional classical pianist brother. Ever since I was a baby, I was enraptured with classical music and dancing to a tape of The Nutcracker. At eight years old, I made my musical theatre debut as a child in my high school's production of Children of Eden. I decided right then and there that I never wanted to stop performing and started serious musical theatre training.
I have since had the opportunity to perform solo at "Don't Tell Mama's Cabaret Club" and "Carnegie Weill Recital Hall". I also have learned so much from filming a sizzle reel for a new musical work called "It's About Time" by Dean Kravitz, which only has grown my passion for film acting. My most recent work was playing the title role in Rogers' and Hammerstein's Cinderella at SUNY Cortland in April 2026 which was directed by Shirley Serotsky. Prior to that in the fall, I played "Magenta" in The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Cortland Repertory Theatre, directed by Bryan Knowlton. I am excited to announce I will be graduating May of 2026 from SUNY Cortland with a BFA in Musical Theatre!
In my free time you can find me painting, playing softball and basketball, going out for Dunkin coffee with friends, singing with my family, baking, hiking, and learning new makeup tricks! Thank you for hanging out and hope you enjoy what else I have to share!
